Duties
Review and evaluate County and Sonoma County Employees’ Retirement Association (SCERA) published reports. Present annual committee updates to the Board of Supervisors covering the following topics: committee activities; independent analysis of trends and key takeaways observed in County and SCERA reports; innovative pension reform strategies being pursued in other local or state jurisdictions; synopsis of articles, studies, publications related to pension reform; and additional recommendations that could help the County further improve the public’s understanding of the pension system.
