| Design Review Board | The Design Review Board / Tree Board (also known as the DRB) meets 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 4:00 pm at City Hall, 7120 Bodega Avenue in Sebastopol. The DRB is appointed by the City Council. The DRB reviews a wide range of development projects to ensure a high quality of design in Sebastopol. The DRB also reviews sign applications and landscaping and lighting as it relates to building development. The DRB also serves as the City's Tree Board. | |
| Planning Commission | The eight-member Planning Commission is appointed by the City Council to serve four-year terms. The members of the Planning Commission shall be from among residents of the City of Sebastopol or shall be the owner of a business within the City of Sebastopol. The Commission is responsible for making recommendations to the City Council on the General Plan, Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance, Cultural Heritage Ordinance, and other ordinances relating to land use, growth, and development review. The Commission also reviews various types of development applications such as Use Permits, Variances, and Subdivisions. | |
