Volunteer Opportunities in Homeless & Housing Services

The County of Sonoma offers services and programs in support of homeless and housing in departments and programs including the Community Development Commission and the Human Services Department. Some of the volunteer opportunities include helping with homeless counts, helping clients complete low-income housing applications, and providing administrative and clerical support.

  • You can opt to submit an application and resume if you’d like, but there is no guarantee that you will hear from the department or program if there are not openings. Complete the volunteer application and email it to volunteer@sonoma-county.orgor drop it off at the County of Sonoma Human Resources Department, Volunteer Program.
