Volunteer Opportunities in Library Services

Both teens and adults are encouraged to apply for volunteer positions at the local libraries. The main task for volunteers is an essential one – shelving books. Volunteering at the library is a great way for high school students to meet school volunteer hour requirements. Teens are also encouraged to provide support to the summer reading program for younger children.

  • You can opt to submit an application and resume if you’d like, but there is no guarantee that you will hear from the department or program if there are not openings. Complete the volunteer application and email it to volunteer@sonoma-county.orgor drop it off at County of Sonoma Human Resources, Volunteer Program.
