SEIU Labor Negotiations Summary

County and SEIU representatives met Wednesday for the parties’ second bargaining session. The meeting began with Christina Cramer, Human Resources Director, providing an overview of the County’s recruitment process, the County’s Compensation Philosophy, and the classification structure. The County presented the County’s total compensation survey and answered questions.
After a caucus, SEIU submitted initial proposals on Article 4 – Union Rights, Article 6 – Employee Rights, Article 7 – Schedules, Hours, and Overtime, and other various interests.
The parties are scheduled to meet for their third bargaining session on November 9, 2022.
