The waitlists will be for applicants 62 or over who meet the qualifications for “very low income,” which is at or below 50 percent of area median income.

On or about May 5, 2025, the Sonoma County Community Development Commission (SCCDC) will submit a request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the release of $200,000 in Community Development Block Grants/Entitlement Grants(CDBG) as authorized by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, Title I, Part 24, Section 570, Public Law 93.-383, 88 Stat. 633, 42 U.S.C 5301-5321, as amended; authorize the Sonoma County Housing Authority to submit a request to HUD for the release of five (5) Project Based Vouchers as authorized by the United States Housing Act of 1937, Section (c)(9), as amended; release of $1,784,482 in HOME American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP), as authorized by Section 3205 of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, P.L. 117-2, to undertake a project known as the Redwood Glen Apartments Project for the purpose of constructing affordable housing units for people living in the Town of Windsor in Sonoma County.
