Acceptable Specimens

1 mL of serum

or

1 mL of CSF

Please note that a TPPA cannot be performed on CSF.

Specimen Storage

Store all specimens in the refrigerator (2-8ºC).

Specimen Transport

Transport specimens to the laboratory on cold pack.

Setup Days

Testing is performed on an as-needed basis.

Turn-around-time

Reports will be available within 7 days of receiving the specimen.
