Roseland COVID-19 vaccination clinic reopens after temporary closure due to water damage
The Roseland Community Clinic in southwest Santa Rosa reopened today after a temporary closure due to water damage. The clinic was temporarily closed on Dec. 16 to repair water damage caused by the activation of a fire sprinkler system in an adjacent building. It reopened as an onsite outdoor clinic on Dec. 20 and resumed indoor operations today. Read full story

Roseland COVID-19 vaccination, testing clinic temporarily closed due to water damage
The Roseland Community Clinic in southwest Santa Rosa has been temporarily closed to repair water damage caused by a fire sprinkler system in an adjacent building late Thursday night. A fire inside Mercadito Roseland, located in the former Dollar Tree store next door to the clinic, activated the building’s sprinkler system and resulted in water damage to a wall shared with the clinic. Sonoma County’s Continuum of Care Board and its Strategic Planning Committee invites the public to provide input on a draft 2022 Homeless Strategic Plan and to learn more about the plan during a series of upcoming meetings. The Continuum of Care is a federally directed homelessness coordination system that works to ensure a regional homelessness system of care is coordinated and effective. Read full story

Sonoma County Health Officer requires flu shots for health care workers, recommends them for public
Sonoma County Health Officer Dr. Sundari Mase issued a health order today requiring workers at certain health care and congregate facilities to get vaccinated against influenza (flu). The flu vaccine requirement applies to all workers who have the potential for direct or indirect exposure to patients or residents. Workers include nurses, physicians, technicians, therapists and pharmacists at such facilities as acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, psychiatric hospitals, dialysis centers, dental offices and others.
